Welcome to Newton Baptist Church of Covington, GA. Our desire is to help people grow spiritually and to help people find hope in Jesus. The Bible has made it clear that Christians have a need to be in church and a need to be with other believers. Our 2024 September Revival will feature "The King James Boys" from the upstate of South Carolina. The King James Boys proclaim the Gospel of Christ through "Bluegrass Gospel" at it's finest. Each song is full of inspiration from the first note until the last!

There's nothing quite like church in-person. It's such a blessing to praise the Lord together. However, we pray that our livestream will  be a help to you if you are unable to join us in person.

Our Summer VBS was a huge success with over 35 children and many volunteers in attendance.  We had a great time and the children raised over $713 to go to the Atlanta City Baptist Rescue Mission.  And best of all, this week saw three precious little souls opened up their hearts and received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

The Lord is at work!

We praise the Lord for the 151 churches from 27 states represented this week at the America's Christian Youth Congress. Our Newton Baptist Teens were represented well along with teens from Canada, England, Guam, Germany, Hungary, Japan, and Spain!

We are grateful for the many souls that came to know Christ as their Saviour and the many more young people who surrendered their lives to follow God's Will! Join us in praying for these young people as they continue in what God did in their hearts this past week at America's Christian Youth Congress!

Here at Newton Baptist, We thank God for allowing us to have a great church along with such a nice congregational facility. Now you have the opportunity to go above and beyond  and help the church by reducing our building debt.
